A year ago I was desperately trying to find a valuation for a property owned by my father and bought several years ago. The property was sold in 2000 and we were tasked with finding a valuation as at that date. After several lines of enquiry I came across Clear Blue Skies and was able to talk to Alan Nicolson about the difficulties encountered. Alan was a tower of strength and he was able to explain how valuations operated in Tenerife and indeed looked at our documentation and was able to offer his expert opinion which was accepted by my legal team in the UK. His efforts enabled us to finalise the Tenerife part of the estate in a short period of time. Last year we were looking at brochures outside the shop-Colin came out to help us and despite being told we wouldn't be buying until the following year he was happy to tell us what was involved in making a purchase and spent time answering our questions. When we returned this year he spent several days taking us round many properties before we found "the one". Colin then made all the arrangements for banks, solicitors etc, driving us around wherever was required. He also put us in touch with a local agent to arrange renting of our new property. Once we returned to Scotland he kept us well informed via phone & email. If the after sales service is as good (and comes with as many cups of coffee) as the pre sale we will be "well pleased" with Clear Blue Skies SL. We also like the idea of the web page with owners properties for rent.

Each question was answered genuinely. Particularly Q6, it was almost like being taken through the whole procedure from start to finish, all questions were answered and advice given where requested. This proved so helpful if you are buying abroad, and not familiar with all the local customs, traditions, and legalities etc.. They directed us to many places relating to our new property, such as companies providing goods and services for the home, gardens, as a matter of fact, everything we required. Nothing replaces "Peace of Mind" needless to say we can back to them a second time.

The whole experience is excellent. The most crucial aspect of dealing with agents, (especially in Tenerife), is, for us, trust. We trust the staff at Clear Blue Skies. The statement of ethics is more than just a set of words – adherence to them starts at the top of the Company and flows down. With regard to the sale of Oasis La Caleta we were kept fully informed throughout the whole process, without us having to move from our seats. It was all very efficient and pain free. We first made contact with Clear Blue Skies S.L through their website & gave Martyn our brief for a villa in the south area of Tenerife. When we visited the Island, a number of properties had been arranged for viewing. Martyn spent almost a day with us, during which time he was always very friendly & patient, which we must have sorely tried, but we eventually found the villa that met all our requirements. During the sale and contract period he has always been very helpful & attentive, keeping us up to date at all times.
